Sonic 3D Blast 6 was based on Sonic & Knuckles 5. While the title screen graphics are ported from Sonic 3D Blast and a «Start» screen (based on S3DB’s main menu) was added between levels, the theme song is reused from Sonic & Knuckles 5. This time, the player starts at Marble Zone. It is also notable that when doing a soft reset on this hack, the title screen switches between its normal state and some garbled graphics, which is likely a result of removing Somari’s title screen graphics and the game switching between two CHR banks, one of which is not meant to be used in this hack.
